Why would you think kmet would be traded? We used 3 tight ends enough last year that it can work, he will mostly be a blocker. Basically a smythe replacement for now.

Why spend a 3rd round pick on a 3rd string TE?

Logan Jones is going to be 25 in October. You don't draft a 25 year olf center in the second round of the draft and make him sit for the year. So do the Bears trade Bradbury before the season?

It's a 17 game season; if Bradbury starts and finishes every game, I'll be shocked.

Love the Bears draft to this point but Roush is definitely a questionable pick when you have other needs.

How do you in one sentence say you love the draft so far and the the next sentence say you question the 3rd round pick? They have other needs. Why a TE. Trrriblenpick. Don’t really like a center at 57 either. Feel they reached a bit on him.!f he was their 89th pick I would love him. But not at 57.

Bradbury isn’t going to start any games unless Logan Jones gets hurt.

A 3rd round pick for TE3 when we have glaring needs on the DL?

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not defending it, just trying to rationalize it.

Legitimately asking the question because I don't know the answer: when was the last time a rookie center played a full season at the position (or close to it)?

I feel like most rookie centers either kick out to guard until returning later, or sit until there's an opening.

He’ll be 25 in October. They didn’t draft him in the 2nd round to be a backup. I have to believe that or it’s not a good pick.

I look at it like the Bears don't expect their interior OL to finish the season healthy.  It's not another Hronis Grasu situation where Jones could *only* play center, since Jones has the size to fill in at guard if there's a need, and he could win the job from Bradbury on merit. I could also see him coming in for certain packages on an as-needed basis.

I just wouldn't bank on him starting Day 1. Center is a weird position, but they can find lots of uses for him.

I get that Dennis Allen is idiosyncratic when it comes to the DL, but does the guy just refuse to coach rookies on the line or something? This has been an ongoing thing and it's horsefeathers weird.

At this rate, might as well grab a kicker with the next pick.

The top long snapper in the draft is still on the board.

Why do you believe this is on DA?

Feels like more of a Poles things than Allen. Poles has focused on DBs and LBs and doesn’t give a horsefeathers about the Dline. He also inherited a decent D that has gotten worse each year he’s been in charge.

He better hope Booker and company elevate their game or he might be out of a job.

Attempting to rationalize why this team abjectly refuses to address the DL through the draft.

I seriously don't get it and am just throwing horsefeathers at the wall in an attempt to understand it.

Definitely didn’t see a TE there. Don’t love that they’re going “Adeyingbo is Motivated” as the solution on the Dline, but a lot of their targets were gone.

theyre definitely putting their eggs in the “our offense will be beastly and hopefully our defensive backs make some plays” as a strategy
