I am not going to be able to handle a winner take all game against the lions in week 18.  And you all know it's coming.

I do not know that it's coming.  Bears win the next 2 games and that Lions game means nothing.

Caleb Williams 242 yard passing day vaults him into #10 all time in Bears career passing yards, passing Justin Fields.

He should pass Bob Avellini for #9 this year.

With relatively good health, he’ll be top 2 or 3 in team history in every major qb counting stat by the expiration of his rookie contract.

Think there's a chance it could win and in for the Lions only, Bears will have clinched.  Now, wouldn't that be juicy and ironic?  Talk about playing with house money.

I had a few court cases with him a number of years back.  Guy was a complete scumbag, so I'm happy to see him pushed further down these sorts of lists.

He owned some properties on the south and west side of Chicago which he managed into the ground, and had a habit of showing up to court while seemingly intoxicated.

Court cases? Do you work in the law?

No; I'm being dead serious. I'm thinking of going into Econ/PolSci and going on a law track to Columbia if possible, because I'm still entertaining the thought of being a Supreme Court justice.

No. Lucky for Javy/others, I'm going to be pretty silent for the next week as I write the first chapter... it drains a lot out of me, and I want to be as historically accurate as possible. I'll like comments I like, I'll love the comments I love, but I won't be commenting as much. When I finish, I'll create a thread about it.

I will pay you $20 to not do this

I don't want to be a lawyer, because I'm not an extroverted dude that much. I'm planning to be an expatriate, because 1) I'm disillusioned and 2) I like living in the world and seeing the world. I already speak a lot of languages, so it makes sense. But when I return to the United States, I think that I would make a good Supreme Court justice since I would be as impartial to everyone as possible. And I think that my uniqueness helps with that. (And yes, I know the arduous path for that, which will take time.)

Regardless, Bobson, I don't claim to be all of these things, though that would be my dream--doing all of that stuff. I tend to join forums associated with that stuff, but this was a step out of the box--and maybe into the wrong one, but I'm still going to stay. I just can't post that often anymore because I'm working VERY hard on my AP work and 1908.

I'm curious--what's the most interesting case that you've defended?

Can I recommend you go talk with senator pelosi about what it's like to work in the government before you decide to be a supreme Court justice?

Senator? I think she's a Congresswoman/representative...

Let me check: Yep, she's not a senator.

And I don't want to talk politics on a forum that's not about politics.

I really don't want to comment again, because I'm in class. And I'm writing 1908.

The "Senator Pelosi" comment is a decade (or two) old callback to a poster we refer to as Da Bum (his actual username was CubbieBum).

Somebody else on here probably remembers it better than me, but he was on like a high school paper or something and managed to get an interview with Speaker Pelosi. But he was an idiot and hadn't done any work to prep. So he was referring to her repeatedly as Senator.

He was mocked relentlessly, for this and a thousand other ridiculous things. And then he somehow stole an actual journalism job away from a poster on this board ("somehow" being that the paper was dying and hiring a kid was cheaper than the professional already on staff). That other poster was Kyle (a.k.a. Hairyducked Idiot), who was a character in his own right.
