To me, the Bears are playing with house money, no expected them win 8 of 11.  The most important things are happening - Ben is a legit HC, Caleb and the offense are improving - the winning now is a bonus.  Off season will be mainly spent on improving the defense, something that is far easier to fix than getting you HC and QB correct.  We've seen no where near the best from Caleb, that's coming in 2026.

I think it’s clear we have the right DC. We just need to give him some talent to work with.

It sure does feel like the Bears are about to have a wealth of options at CB.  With how Wright and Stevenson have been playing lately, and with Johnson and Gordon coming back...gonna be a real nice problem to have.

Yep…if only our LB corps was not depleted now lol.

Yeah, I'm a pretty optimistic fan, and I can definitely see the Bears winning on Friday, but that said...my fear is that with the LB's being decimated, that Barkley has a "get right" game.

If the Bears can avoid just getting run on, this will be a competitive and close game. Obviously the Eagles' rushing attack isn't what it once was, but neither was the Steelers and they were gashing us for 7 and 8 yard gains on obvious running downs with this back up linebacking core.

If we can just keep the Eagles from running wild in the run game, which is something they are capable of, if not consistent at doing, we got ourselves a game.

We need to start a GoFundMe to send a parade of hookers to Barkley's house over the next 24-36 hours.

I don't see the DC going anywhere next year. He just had a HC gig that didn't go so well, so maybe the Bears can keep this unit together for awhile.

It was his 2nd HC job (HC of the Raiders from 2012-14). It's going to take a while for that 3rd opportunity.

Green Bay has at least two non-Bears losses in their remaining six. Lions probably only have one. I'm not going to make a guess on the Bears. I want to believe, but I can't.

Root for GB to win on Thanksgiving. Then hopefully either the semi-hot Cowboys or the likely favored Rams can beat the Lions and put them at 6 losses, which at worst case likely puts the Lions/Bears Week 18 matchup as a win and in game.

But also root for GB, because the Bears have 2 shots at them and only 1 vs Detroit.

It’s a hard call. On the one hand, the Lions losing puts them two back of the division lead, and may basically knock them out of contention for the North. But a Packers win keeps them only to half a game back of the Bears with two cracks at us.

I think I’m rooting for the Lions and if we gotta make week 18 a virtual NFC North Championship, you may as well do it at home

Is a tie between GB and Detroit the best outcome? Might have to root for that

A tie sounds good, I just can't root for the Packers.

I can't either.  I just want to see them suffer, always.  The Cardinals are the same.  Not just lose.  But in the most soul-crushing way imaginable.

Yes it's petty.  They all feel the same about us so it's good.

Haha oops.  CJGJ let it slip that JJ is gonna be back.

“He is one of the best corners in the league. I just feel like now he’ll probably get the chance to actually show that with him being active this week against a great receiving corps. I’m excited for him. Because everybody asks what can you do against a great receiving corps, and he has a chance to prove it, shut everybody up, and get back.”

The backup LBs somehow accounted for 29 tackles last week.

Brad Biggs said that’s the most tackles for a pair of Bears LBs since Urlacher and Briggs in the ‘06 Cardinals game lmao

With the Eagles attacking the vulnerable second level and tush pushing their way to 1st downs on down and short, they’ll play keep away all game. I’d be very surprised if the bears pull this off but Ben Johnson is one of the few play callers who can match wits with Fangio..
