Sam Darnold becomes the first QB from the 2018 class to reach the Super Bowl, as everyone expected.

Look up what other QBs were drafted in 2018 to understand the absurdity.

Zach Wilson’s only chance of being decent is signing with the Seahawks.

I think it’s just as absurd only he and Tom Brady have won 14 games in a regular on 2 separate teams. Unlike Brady Darnold has done it in consecutive seasons.

Chaps my ass that horsefeathers Drake Maye made it to the Super Bowl before Caleb.

Drake has a SB caliber defense,  Caleb has a bottom 3rd defense.

Maye also doesn’t anywhere near the amount of talented play makers that Caleb has. He was a beneficiary of an easy schedule but he played better. It doesn’t mean Caleb won’t catch up but there’s no other way to spin it.

Don't think NE has much of chance so, maybe, Caleb will win a SB first.  Granted, anything can happen but, this time around, the Patriots don't get the benefit of playing teams featuring crap play from the QB nor, will the teams have to deal with the weather.

My god if their teams were reversed I dont think any of you would be talking this crap about Maye. The dude ripped off an incredible sophomore season.  He has a coaching staff with about 50 years of championship experience and his development to this point has been extraordinary.

You dont have to downplay every one of Caleb's contemporaries.

No doubt about it, he was and is very good.  Also have to acknowledge the Patriots path to the SB was, comparatively, the easiest, that's got to play some part.

I think it might be time to do away with the Pro Bowl. Just name your Pro Bowlers and that’s good enough.

NFC and AFC All Pros, 1st team and second

I’m just happy the chiefs dynasty is over and there’s finally some fresh blood from the AFC with the Patriots. Boston deserves a championship more than anyone. That long suffering city has been waiting 18 months for a championship since the Celtics won in June of 2024.

I wonder if his “pro bowl” selection increases the price of his franchise tag that he’ll never see as a Brown. I don’t know if the players union makes a distinction between alternates or not.

My entire Facebook feed couldn't stop talking about Shadeur Sanders being a Pro Bowler. Weird. I haven't watched or cared about a Pro Bowl in at least 4 full decades. Why is this even news?

It's like Jacob Misiorowski being an all-star, but...if he was actually quite bad.  It isn't so much about the game because nobody cares...it's the unearned recognition.

It's because Sanders turned into some weird touchpoint of people who "believed in him" and those who "didn't". It was amplified to 11 on draft day, and now a Pro Bowl selection (of all things) is a "victory" for those who thought he should've been first round pick

I’ve been a Shedeur supporter for a long time now but this is ridiculous. Just do away with this sham of an event already.

I wonder if the other better QBs turned the NFL down or if this was done to bring more media and fan attention than other QBs

It's like Mitch Trubisky making the Pro Bowl.
