Can't imagine Troy played in a ton of cold weather games in Dallas.

The way his commentary is these days, if you didn’t know he played you might not guess it.

I did some research on football-reference. He played in a total of 19 road games in Dec/Jan that were not in NOR or ARI and went 4-15 in those games.

Aikman, over his career, was a lot like Derek Jeter. He was good but impossibly overrated due to the effect of the players around him.

I would take Romo or Brady over Aikman these days

I do know one thing - the Rams better win the Super Bowl this year because, what they've gotten out Stafford and Nacua is career year like stuff.  They aren't improving on that in the future.  The Bears, Caleb, have room for improvement, Stafford is as good as he'll ever be.

Stafford is going to be 38 years old in a few weeks.  He may put a few more solid seasons together, but he is nearing the end.

I did not realize how consistent Stafford has been in his career. I could see hm continue play at this level for a few years.

Ending this season with a Super Bowl MVP trophy would likely cement his place in the Pro Football HOF.

Kinda insane to think about.

Sure, he'll be good for a few more years but, MVP level?  I'd say the chances are silm to none he'll continue at such a level, this season is clearly a career year for him.

He has had more than a few career years. I think most people don't realize how good Stafford is because he spent so many years on some really crappy Lions teams.

Yeah, he was definitely meh. So I am proud of the defense showing up and showing out against, imo, a future HOF QB.

Jeff Hafley to the Dolphins because why not.

Guess they must want to tap into that Le Flower tree.

I like to think of it as Caleb running him out of the NFC North. That he decided that he would rather face Allen/Maye and whoever Jets put out there than face Caleb again. It's not true, I know that but I prefer to think it.

Jon-Eric Sullivan was just hired about 10 days ago as the Dolphins new GM. He had previously been in the Packers org since 2004. He was mostly a scout, Director of Scouting, then Director of Player Personnel, and finally VP of Layer Personnel.  So he's pretty familiar with Hafley, and this is really no surprise to Packers fans.

Will be interesting to see who replaces him.  Have heard Raheem Morris and LaFleur are very good friends, going way back. But I wouldn't be surprised if they take an internal promotion like Demarcus Cousins or Derrick Ansley. Both are previous Def Coordinators in the league.

Robert Salah finalizing a deal to become Tennessee Titans HC.

not great for Matt Nagy, who is basically already replaced as Chiefs OC

I'm not sure why Salah would get another bite of the apple after his stint with NYJ.  Especially so soon.
