Seems like there's not enough general NFL chatter for weekly threads.  Anyway, apparently Cowboys DE Marshawn Kneeland is dead at age 24.

Jesus. That's a very different story than I thought would come out based on the Schefter report I saw earlier this morning.

The Broncos have 46 sacks and are 18 clear of the next team

Man would I love to have some of that.

Two true statements:

If the season ended today, the Chiefs would not make the playoffs as they're tied with the Jags for the last WC spot and would lose the tiebreaker due to H2H.

The Chiefs are currently the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl.

Second round pick 😁 ( couldn't resist )

Obviously my first choice would be the Bears winning the Super Bowl. However, assuming that doesn't happen I wouldn't mind seeing Indianapolis win this year.

Last year Barkley leaves the Giants and wins a SB.

This year Jones leaves the Giants and wins a SB?

Patriots Vs Seahawks looks like a legit possibility and that would be absolutely nuts

Patriots, Colts and Broncos all being 8-2 was not on my bingo card

Daboll fired

Eberflus is what happens when you wait a year too long to fire the HC.  Daboll is what happens when you wait even longer, into the next year.

I’m biased but I thought JT was insanely good value after the first round.

Carolina hasn't made the playoffs in 8 years and probably won't this year either, but being 6-5 in late November, half a game out of first, will work for me.

The Chiefs are now 5-5, in 9th in the AFC, would lose tiebreakers for the division, and with LA, Buffalo, and Jacksonville for a wild card spot, and play the Colts next week. If they don't win that, they may have to win out just to make the playoffs, and still have games remaining against the Chargers and Broncos.

That last PI on the Lions to end the game was horrifyingly bad. There was an even worse one earlier in the day in the Dolphins game that will be circulating all week since there was little to no contact at all.

It's probably time for someone of significance to make some headlines with the bad officiating/gambling implications of these games.
