Joey Ortiz is going in the book, that was a dirty slide

Was going to say I’ve noticed a bunch of dirty slides from Milwaukee players this series.

The break time between half innings seems insane.

Yeah, these playoff games right now are dragging ass.

It's a 1-1 game and it took an hour to get through 3 innings.

And they still manage to show a quick commercial in between batters some times as well.

The thing about every dude being a .728 ops grinder is that they are going to Do All The Little Things, but they are also going to blatantly steal looks into the pitchers grip and slide high into second, and it’s because they’ve all had to do this just to survive as baseball players. Nobody cared if Kris Bryant or Bryce Harper hustled to first, because they put balls in seats. These guys had to survive on the margins.

The time between innings is 2 minutes for both local broadcasts and nationally televised games in the regular season and 2 minutes, 55 seconds for postseason games.”

For some reason we need that extra 55 seconds for absolutely no reason.

I’m gonna say it’s the extra commercials that are the reason

If owners get a cap, can we get a hard and fast rule on checked swings?!

I hate checked swings. There literally isn't a rule on them. They don't exist according to an MLB rule book.

Major League Baseball is super weird. We have more data on this sport than any other, and the strike zone and checked swings and infield flys are all "IDK, dude, what do you think? What's the vibe on that one?"

that first inning made it look like they'd keep hammering Misiorowski and unfortunately he's really settled in

Gotta stop chasing those pitches off the plate

Most of these commercials seem to be promos for their own tv shows.
