Yeah, it’s over. A 5 run deficit is hard for any team to come back from. Milwaukee will likely score more runs, so there’s that too. 😞

If it was a 7 game series I don't think it would be time to hit the panic button. But winning 3 of the next 4? Kinda doubtful without Horton obviously

I agree with all of that. He’s been solid but his peripherals have caught up to him a bit and they don’t have a true stopper in the rotation with Horton sidelined. A bunch of 3 starters probably won’t cut it.

Welp , basically another elimination game coming on Monday . Starting Boyd wasn’t the greatest idea . I know there was the Hoerner error , but the Brewers very clearly see him well .

 

There going to have to come up with another plan if the series goes long enough  to where his turn comes again .
