They suck but the situation is now getting interesting given how much they suck and therefore fighting for home field advantage.

I am amazed by how many people hate this team. They are the best team we have had in Chicago since 2018 and all people do is complain about them. I just don’t get it🤷 Yes, they frustrate me too. But they are a good team who had a good year. With no real powerhouse in baseball they have as good a chance as any to go far. And yet there are people who post continually about how bad they are. Maybe watch other teams. Maybe see what they can’t do. Maybe see what the Cubs can do that others can’t do. Again, I get frustrated too. But I watched this team when they won 70 games a year. I watched them when they completely collapsed down the stretch. I sure as hell have no issues watching them now. I know, in the e d they will probably fall short. But no matter what team I was rooting for I would make that statement. When a tournament has 12 teams in it with only 1 winner it is always an easy bet to say your team won’t win. Maybe just try watching and being positive instead of every time a pitcher gives up a run or a batter makes an out with men on base losing your horsefeathers. There is no guarantees that they will be a 90 win team again. Why not enjoy it while it is here?
