This just sucks, and there is not much on the horizon that gives me hope. Farm system isn’t what it was, cheap ass owner, and a baseball ops/gm dude(s) who can’t seem to put together a team that has any offensive proficiency at their own park. Sad, sad times. And for those that would point to the 99.7% playoff odds as a glimmer of hope, I sincerely ask: what has this team showed you over the past couple of months that makes you believe they won’t get immediately bounced due to a completely lethargic and inept offense?

Personally I agree. There are others they feel we NEED him. Guy can play, but little to no effort on many plays throughout the year.

Probably the series win over the team with the best record in baseball or the over 500 west coast road trip they just did.

DYMNO!!! You’re coming around to seeing the reality of this team right now. Last time I believe you schooled me on how Benny Brown needs to “learn the ropes” I believe was the statement. Brown is not good….this team over performed the first half the year…..they are just showing us the reality of the situation. Like you and many on this forum, I love this team and hope they can snap back a bit and get right. However, it’s okay to state facts and opinions.
