Does anyone know the opponents BA vs. Horton in 0-2 and 1-2 counts?  It's got to be well, well above average.

I'm sorry, thought the Cubs had a very good chance tonight.  But, this game is way over, it's not a matter of if they lose, just by how much.  Hopefully, they don't get swept tomorrow.

Is Festa on the trade block? He must be good since he’s mowing down the cubs lineup. This team needs a dog in the rotation badly.

Matthew Boyd takes offense to this post.

That had to be the dumbest play by a catcher I have seen this year. What the horsefeathers was Mcquire thinking?

Horton really shouldn’t be at 4 ER. His defense has cost him at least 2 runs. Maybe 3. Piss poor performance all around. They better wake up or they’ll be out of the division lead come the weekend

Jeez, I knew that Tucker isn’t a very good outfielder. But didn’t realise he was also an incredibly lazy one.

Since when is Tucker not a good outfielder?

Yep. He pitched pretty well tonight. 19 whiffs is his career high. He pitched better than the line left him.

Twins starters have gone 10 combined innings pitch with 131 pitches.

True, there's also his continued inability to put people away when ahead in he count that showed up again.

Maybe he is statistically? I’ve just witnessed him slow down to a jog twice today. Which is frustrating.

He did pitch much better than what his final numbers will show. But the balls to right field were legitimate hits. Maybe Berti  should have fielded that grounder and/or Swanson should have turned quicker to throw to home, but 2 runs were on Horton. Again, I still feel he looked good.

I think you are seeing things that are not happening. The.balls to right field he had no chance of catching. He wasn’t jogging. That is his speed.

Notice I didn't say "perfect". Yes, there are some flaws still. Regardless, he pitched better than the line susggests.

I didn't say anything about the balls to RF. Yes, they were hits.

I was just pointing out his whiffs and that his line is likely worse than he threw.

Even if they get lucky and come back and win this game, this team has been exposed in some areas.  They won't make it the NLCS as currently constructed.  They need pitching and another hitter (IMO)
