He's a career 127 wRC+. This year he has made significant changes to his bat. He's making more contact, swinging at less balls, increased his barrel rate, and his launch angle. His xdata is very close to his real data. Entered today with a .417 wOBA and an xwOBA of .393. That's the 17th best in baseball. Nothing he's doing this year suggests this is just a heater. He's a much better hitter than he's been and he's been a good hitter.

It's okay to just say he's really good. He's really good.

I stand corrected, is okay to say Solano and Garver are really bad?

lol come on

The last two weeks he has hit a lot of 330 foot balls. Some have gone for doubles (great!) but even when he looks like he's barreled it up, it's not leaving the yard

The bullpen was probably due for a rough game but good lord. At least make them work for it. Don’t groove pitches down the middle

True but like I said before, this pen isn't what it seems IMO. We've had some guys pitching WAY over their heads thus far this season. I'd like to see another quality BP arm added at the deadline who wouldn't...most every contender is looking to do that. It's a lot easier said than done. We need a quality starter and a quality reliever at bare minimum. Tough task but possible of course. Just don't wanna give up Moises to get it done.

Are they seriously gonna lose this game? Pathetic

Hyperbole much?  It's baseball and the Mariners aren't exactly a bad team.

Jed constructing this bullpen was like the Chevy guy presenting the truck to Madison Bumbarner.

”I am going to sign Daniel Palencia and stuff.”

Hodge coming back soon will help also, I believe Little is going to play a key role sometime this season.

That's a fact Derwood....you guys think he's worth a mega deal? (400-500mil?) I don't think he is. Spend that money on signing PCA for the next 10 years.

Great point on Hodge...hope he's close to being ready again. Little has great stuff but of course his problem was control. Don't know if he's worked that out at Iowa or not. I'd need one of you guys to fill me in on that.
