Hey look at that, someone getting worse luck than Brown!

Kirby is awesome, but at home with the wind (I believe) blowing out and Boyd on the bump the Cubs should still probably be light favorites.

He has been better in June. 6 runs in 17 innings. 22/4 strikeout to walk ratio. I am sure he is still a very good pitcher. But like you said, wind is blowing out, so anything can happen.

lets see the offense explode again and have a run of sustained hitting ( i know technically they did yesterday but they lost so it doesn't count to me)

Kirby has only pitched in 5 games this year. Allowed 11 ER in first two outings of the season (8.1 innings), but has been really good the next three.

This begins a stretch of 27 of next 37 games against AL teams with Cardinals (7) and Brewers(3) being the only NL games.

Need to win series and take care of the two teams behind them in the division, this will get them to August and hopefully with a more then comfortable lead in the division.

haha I was exaggerating a bit.  But he is on an absolute tear.  I came into today knowing he'd get a HR.  He could end up with 50 HR this year

the last few games, the Cubs are finally getting umps that can call a game behind the plate, and it isn't a default strike if it's 3 inches outside of the zone.  More of this, please
