The game is on Apple TV+ tonight.  I searched around for free trials and some of the previous deals (like the Best Buy 3 month trial) appear to be dead.  The best I found was a 7 day trial through Prime Video, which will be good enough for access to tonight's game.

I forgot to cancel Apple TV once Severance ended so I get to see tonight's game. Is it me or is Apple TV+ picture one of the best out there for streaming? Its like night and day watching a baseball game there as opposed to Fox or ESPN as an example.

The Apple games stream in 1080p, so I don't think it's just you. The one time I watched one, it was noticeably sharper.

Hopefully Ben Brown will bring his 1080p game tonight and be noticeably sharper.

Notable here as well is that the NL is the superior league this year by seemingly a pretty wide margin

Anyone agree with me that Brown is due for a dominant game?

I agree, he dominated a better Brewer lineup last season, don't see why can't dominate a lesser lineup tonight.

3rd best SP era.  10th in pen ERA

Hopefully I can find a good stream today because I don’t particularly want to buy a $13 Apple TV sub for one game.

To be fair, the pens era is really hit hard by 3 innings. 3 terrible innings. Without those innings the pens era era is under 3. And in 2 of the games with the awful innings, the Cubs came back and won the game anyway. And in those 2 games of Workman makes a play that should be made, they give up a lot less runs.  In reality the pen hasn’t been that bad and in fact, good, but for 3 major blow up innings.

Both this year and last year, hitters have lit up Ben Brown's fastball. High EV and high xAVG and xSLG on it.

Good fb velo but maybe it's a location thing.... hopefully.

Have to assume guys are probably sitting on that fb too because the curve is very good.  As people have said, he may need a 3rd pitch longterm to stay in the rotation.  He's been working in a change up

I think that’s it - it’s hard to go more than once through the order with only two pitches.  It sounds like his change up is not progressing too well.
