Inexcusable with Tucker on deck to get doubled off.

Nothing he could do. Ball was hit so hard he'd never have gotten back unless it was slow-pitch-softball and Berti wasn't allowed to take a lead.

I'll be glad when the Cubs are done with the Dodgers in the regular season this week.  I'm so horsefeathers sick of the Dodgers, Padres and Diamondbacks, they can all go bye-bye.

This was on the offense but wicks sucks.

Odd time to criticize Wicks. I mean the first run in the 10th shouldn’t have even happened. They should have won 2-1.

If I were Luvallo and the Cubs and DBacks face each other in the NLCS I am using Kelly in G1, 4 and 7.

If I’m the Cubs I wouldn’t mind being Corey Kluber’d again.

dansby should hit the ball better imo

He's been complete trash vs non-fastballs.  Which is normal but more extreme so far.

Wicks has 1 good pitch plus a bunch of arse.  If he wants to succeed he'll have to command the fastball like a boss, Taillon-style.

Same. Ready to be done with those teams. Tough 17 game stretch upcoming (outside of Pittsburgh / unless we draw Skenes), but then the schedule lets up finally. Hope we just continue to hang around and I expect them to go on a run. Been a few frustrating losses so far, but overall, and especially considering the schedule, they’ve done about all we could hope for.

Agreed, regarding the Pirates, since he's come up when haven't the Cubs drawn Skenes?

He's up there completely guessing. He watched several meatballs yesterday for strikes because he was guessing breaking pitches. He currently has a 28.8% K rate and a 5.8% walk rate, both of which are career worst

I don't know I think I agree with JD there, he could have frozen right there and still got doubled off that ball was hit so hard and in such a fortuitous spot for the defense to turn that DP.
