Bears/Vikings is one of two MNF matchups this weekend which is good for Disney since there’s a good chance the Bears lay another national tv egg. But maybe they figure out a way to cover the 7 point spread on the road.

If Thomas Brown wants to stay in the discussion for next head coach winning a road game against a better divisional opponent would be a good start.

But, alas…

Who done lost their mind by having Chi/Minn on MNF?

Probably not as bad as Cincy-Dallas this past Monday

Everything I read about that game said it was entertaining. Dallas scored in all 4 quarters. Cincy didn’t score in the 3rd but got 10 points in the 2nd and 4. 5 total tds, 3/2. Winning TD scored in final minute.

Chicago has lost by 25, 20 and 16 so far this year and the offense has sucked in 7 of the games played, and most first halves.

The performance last Sunday should be enough to eliminate him from consideration for the job.

Joe Burrow is also the best player in the NFL

That game was incredible.  The soul crushing way Dallas lost rivaled any of the Bears losses, include the hail mary loss.

Yes, I'm at the usual point during the NFL season, deriving joy only from other teams' misery.

wait this is monday night football? what did we do to deserve that?

I'm guessing it's just that Caleb Williams is playing against a division rival.

Glad the Bengals won, helped the Bears draft position, now, if one or more of Carolina, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Cleveland or the Jets could manage two more wins.  That could move the Bears up to the 6-7 range, this is, of course, assuming the Bears don't win any of the remaining games, probably a pretty safe assumption.

Jacksonville might have the easiest path two stumbling into two more wins: vs. NYJ, @LV, vs TEN, @IND.

its been 6 years since the Bears have had a winning season. this sucks man

Completely sucks, with a good off season this can be turned around next season, roster is deficient but, not tear down and rebuild bad.  It can be fixed in one off season.

And just 1 winning season in the 12 years since we fired Lovie after a 10-6 season.  I'd say the curse of Lovie but he ended up paying us back 10 fold with the Texans win in 2022.

If you want to go back to 1992(the last season of Ditka) these are the only playoff seasons

1994-(1-1) Beat Vikings in WC, lost to 49ers in Div round

2001-(0-1) Lost to Eagles in Div round at home

2005-(0-1) Lost to Panthers in Div round at home

2006-(2-1) Beat Seahawks, Beat Saints in NFC Championship, lost to Colts in SB XLI

2010- (1-1) Beat Seahawks, lost to Packers in NFC CHampionship at home

2018-(0-1) Lost to Eagles in the Double Doink Wild Card at home

So 6 seasons out of 33 where they made the post season.

If you include 1986-1991 the post SB Champ Bears they made the playoffs every year but 89, but their playoff record was not good.

1986 (0-1) Lost to Redskins in Div round at home

1987- (0-1) Lost to Redskins in Div round at home

1988- (1-1) Beat Eagles, lost to 49ers in NFC Championship game at home

1990- (1-1) Beat Saints in WC, lost to Giants in Div round

1991-(0-1)- Lost to Cowboys in WC at home

What a pile of horsefeathers

You're forgetting our playoff appearance in 2020.  I get why though, it really doesn't feel like we made the playoffs that year and might be one of the worst playoff teams ever.

Those loses to the Redskins were horsefeathers brutal. Definitely still had a SB defense but they just had no offense left.

49ers last 5 games:

-17 points scored in loss to Seattle

-10 points scored in loss to Green Bay

-10 points scored in loss to Buffalo

-38 points scored in win over Chicago

-6 points scored in loss to Los Angeles Rams

One of these things is not like the other.  Did the Bears defense just completely give up last week or is Eberflus a defensive mastermind keeping everything together?
