Not a single slightly interesting game today. Great job, committee

Eh, Alabama/South Carolina/Ole Miss easily could have been blown out too. We had blowouts with the BCS and the 4 team playoff too.

Irish only 1.5 dogs vs the Dawgs? I thought Georgia would be in the 4 range

With Beck they probably would be. It actually opened as a pick 'em.

As much as people will talk about the Beck factor, Notre Dame is looking like they're going to have 2 of the 9 preseason starters along the two lines available for this game because injuries have taken out all the rest of them. That seems like a lot to overcome for a team so dependent on defense and running the ball.

Hilariously bad decision from Pitt. They’re down 40-37 in the second OT and they have 3rd and goal from the 1. They direct snap to a WR and he tries to throw it and it’s incomplete. Probably should have been completed. Then on 4th and goal from the 1, they kick the FG to go to a third OT. So rather than a play from the 1 to win the game, Pitt chooses 1 play from the 3 which Toledo would then have their own chance from the 3 as well.

So many bad/chickenshit decisions in that game.

I don’t know what you guys were watching but that game told me Alabama was certainly a playoff team. I mean like Ohio St, they too showed they could lose a close low scoring game to Michigan.

A pleasant unexpected surprise the Illini beat South Carolina in the Citrus Bowl.  One of the few sports teams I follow that wasn't total horsefeathers in 2024.  And suck it ESPN ,your SEC darlings lost to the Big Ten again!  That makes twice today!

Man, I keep coming back to that Minnesota game. They don't lose that game they're probably ranked top 12 in the nation in the final rankings. #12 would tie for the highest end of season ranking since Ron Turner in 2001. #11 would put them at their highest since 1989.

I can't believe this is a real image...

I don't know anything about the South Carolina coach, but he came across like a whiny moron who was getting played by the other coach the entire game and was unable to adjust.  The substitution rules are what they are, and he didn't seem to understand them.

Texas - ASU may be the last of the blowouts, believe the other playoff games today will be competitive.

Watching possible Bears draftee, #78 Kelvin Banks Jr., anyone watch LSU yesterday?  If so, how did Will Campbell look or, did he opt-out?

I did not see the opening kickoff, appears South Carolina tried to trick the Illini.  Prior to catching the ball in the end zone South Carolina returner spread his arms as if to indicate a touch back.  He caught the ball then threw a lateral to another returner who proceeded to run the ball out of the end zone.  Guess Bielama was teasing/taunting the Gamecocks after kind of a bush league move.

Every stupid pro SEC narrative has been crushed to pieces with its champion against Notre Dame the last team to play. Feels like a trap.

Texas's offense sucks and it would be hilarious if they blew this game. The only reason their winning is because of a punt return TD, a missed FG and a turnover on downs at the 2 right before the safety. 5 minutes left in the game and they have 210 yards of offense.

ASU deserves all the credit, despite, at times, appearing physically overwhelmed, they hung in, I hope they win.

Suck it pro-SEC ESPN.
