The Bulls took over in the 3rd quarter and beat the Kings 128-116. Derozan 9-22, Lavine 2-9. Coby White with 35, Vooch with 24, Huerter with 25.

since the break he's averaging 22/10/9 on 53% shooting (52% from 3). last night he was 2 steals away from a quad-double

Buzellis may finally be a hit by this FO in the draft and Giddey is putting up crazy lines the last month or so.

Giddey's in-season turnaround has been otherworldly. I have to believe nobody has ever flipped a switch and went from a 54 TS to a 65 at the break. At least from a high usage player. If he's this guy moving forward that is a huge, huge win.

His defense has improved ever since Billy pushed him hard to be better at it and took him out in the 4th quarter of most games. He had 8 steals last night and was 2 short of a quadruple double. 
 

Edit: it looks like he has slightly regressed defensively as the season went on, but according to the advanced stats he’s still a better defender than Ayo and about as good as Coby.

It's shocking, don't know if it was finally good scouting, evaluation, etc. or just luck Buzelis fell into their laps.  Wonder if they had their usual Williams/Phillips/Terry type in queue had Buzelis not fallen.

AK had Lithuanian connections to him and before he was drafted by the Bulls he was on the Bulls’ G League Ignite team

They might actually climb into the 8 seed spot, 2 games back of Orlando but own the tiebreaker (they do not own the tiebreaker vs the Hawks).
