Considering we're almost a week away from the regular season tipoff, now seemed as good of a time as any to start this thread.

Lonzo is rumored to be returning during this Wednesday's preseason game against the Wolves.  I want him to be fully recovered and hope he can play a full season, but eesh, I'm not optimistic about that with his injury history.

What can you really expect from a guy who has missed this much time? Is there a comparison where a guy missed two years and a half years and comes back as good as before he got injured? And in the 5 years he did play, 63 is the most games he's ever played in a season.

He's kind of similar to Livingston in the master-of-none vein. If he can run the floor without pain then he should be a pretty valuable piece setting guys up and taking 3s when they're given. Hopefully he can keep his feet on defense. There's gonna be a ton of rust but I think his game should still be pretty effective.

Lonzo is nothing more than trade bait at this point. They need him to prove he can still play and then he will be moved as we no longer can have good players.

I cannot believe I bought the wolf ticket that was AKME. Extending Vuc and now trying to extend Giddey already, they are just so divorced from reality.

It would be nice if LaVine is back to the 50/40/85 guy and we could find a taker.

Is Phillips interesting if he developed a 3-pointer? I don't know anything about the guy,

Terry is a friggin joke. The Buzelis guy looks like a 3-year project who can't shoot right now.

ESPN doesn't have the game listed on tonight's schedule. ESPN realizes the Bulls aren't worth the pixels on their website

I'm in a free fantasy league where most every team did autodraft. I ended up with Giddey and my first week opponent has LaVine, but no points were scoring for those guys in real time like everyone else. Of course, it's an ESPN league. LOL.

If you looked at the NBA scoreboard on ESPN last night it had the Bulls 81  NO 80 with the Bulls losing. Since I didn't watch the game, I was trying to figure out what the hell happened.

11th overall pick getting 4 whole minutes is super encouraging

The Bulls are monumentally awful at drafting in the first round. Coby White is probably their best 1st round pick since 2011 when they picked Jimmy Butler.

Lauri was a good pick. They also suck at developing players.

Hey when you have Talen Horton-Tucker and Julian Phillips on your team you have to play them.

But seriously this team is so poorly built.  What an awful game by Pat Williams who the Bulls just gave $90m to.

Actually Lauri was an outstanding pick.

Friggin 25/9 on 49/40/89 with the Jazz 😦

Technically they didn't draft him, but yes

I got a VPN and linked into the Bulls game last night via Streameast, and in the final 7 or 8 minutes that I actually saw, there was about 10 shots that got blocked by the Pelicans. So that was fun.

Don’t like Giddy’s game at all. Can’t finish at the basket, careless with the ball, can’t shoot. Other than that he’s great.

Hey, at least he’s a high character guy! [/green font]

Giddey needs to get his creepy ass in the weight room.

can’t say I’m a huge fan of the high screen-launch a 3 before you burn more than 4 seconds on the shot clock offense. DeMar leaving doesn’t mean we have the roster to try to be the pacers.

You can launch like that if you have guys who can crash the boards. The Bulls will be bottom feeders in rebounds this year. Poor shooting and poor rebounding coupled with poor defense is a recipe for last place.
