Records at this point of the season:

2024/25: 18-23

2023-24: 19-22

2022-23: 19-22.

Just saying.

The Bulls are a money-maker. Why would Reinsdorf change?

Until the Bulls start losing him money, there is no urgency for Reinsdorf to spend or win.

The guy is almost 89 years old, so one would think there might be SOME urgency.  Not quite Virginia level urgency, but pretty damn close.

I agree. There should be some urgency but there is none.

Chicago really does have the crappiest of owners in sports. It really is something else when you can make not one but two organizations irrelevant but here we are with Reinsdorf.

Michael Reinsdorf runs the Bulls, but he looks to be a spitting image of his dad. Adam Silver can’t be happy with the Bulls. You can’t have a major market team be this irrelevant with no direction for this long even if the team is making gobs of money.

He said he’s a bigger White Sox fan than a Bulls fan and he has no urgency with the Sox either. The only urgency he has is trying to get the new stadium built on someone else’s dime.

Yep. I may not be a fan of the Sox or their fans but what Reindorf is doing is gross.

just lost at home to the hornets after vuc (who apparently has no trade value despite being 20/10 on 56/42/80 shooting splits and the 82nd highest cap hit in the league) put up 40

Or the Bulls are waiting to see if they can make a run until right before the trading deadline (they won’t). The Bulls haven’t made an in-season trade since 2021, so this is not unusual.

It's amazing how you guys keep talking about this team that folded 15 years ago. You really holding strong to those memories.

You know, it won't be that long until the Cubs will have folded 15 years ago. Fandom is fandom.

I’ve long been praying that this is a Rocky Wirtz/Bill Wirtz situation and Michael Reinsdorf is respecting his father’s wishes until he croaks and then he’ll start making changes to make the team suck less.

I'm not sure I've watched a game start to end in 5 years at this point.

From start to finish?  Yeah its been a few years.  Even if the Bulls weren't the most depressing team in the NBA, most NBA games end up close late so unless I have a ton of time, I just watch the 4th quarter lol.  The last game I'm certain I watched start to finish was Game 2 of their playoff series against Milwaukee.  Derrick Rose was probably still on the team the last time I watched a regular season game from start to finish.

I actually really miss caring about the Bulls, but I just don't right now.  The CSHN thing killed whatever desire I had to watch games.  If I can't even watch them without searching the high seas for a stream, there's just no point.  I see little tidbits like "Bulls lose 137-109".  The thing I kept seeing today was Patrick Williams is apparently playing bad?  Well no horsefeathers many people would have told you that before you extended him

Same here. With the NBA being a hot mess right now, I'm ok with not caring about the Bulls.

Yeah, even if the Bulls were good, I'm not sure I could sit and watch a full NBA game anymore.  I check scores and regularly see teams putting up 40-50 points in a quarter.  The players may be incredibly talented, but the style of play just isn't something I'm interested in watching.

There was a game earlier this year where i checked the box score and the teams combined for something stupid like 110 3 pointers attempted. That's absurdly boring to watch.
