Patrick is the one of those players that would have been better off staying in college and developed more. He wasn't even a starter in college. He had had an injury-riddled career so far, but he just doesn’t get it yet.

4 games to go, Bulls effectively 2 games out of the 7-8 spot (win the tiebreaker vs Orlando, lose the tiebreaker vs Atlanta). So, really, they'll have to win out to get that spot (Orlando and Atlanta play each other twice, so if Bulls win out, their odds of getting in the 7-8 game is about 80%, one loss and it drops below 50%).

So, tonight they play in Cleveland against a Cavs team that still hasn't quite clinched the 1 seed yet. If they can steal a win, they might actually play in the playoffs this season. If not, they'll likely repeat the performance from the past 3 years.

Dont understand, is he hurt?  The difference between the 8 seed and 9 seed is enormous.

i don't really get it. we have a back to back with miami tomorrow so apparently getting homecourt for the 9/10 game is more important (even though you have to win twice...) than making a run at the 7/8 game where you only have to win once? he's not hurt. it's for "rest" on the injury report.

I believe the last time the United Center hosted a Bulls or Blackhawks game in the month of May or later was 10 years ago when the Hawks won the Cup at the UC. Pathetic.
