Absolutely brutal April

It's ok, that's when they are experimenting with the bullpen anyway.

Yea not sure why they don't just rotate to each being the home team. Oh well, this is big for the org to be able to showcase Suzuki & Imanaga there.

Yeah I don't understand why it wasn't 2-2- with each team losing a homegame.  Also hate that it's 3 separate series because there's a pretty decent chance in 7 games against the Dodgers we get Ohtani-Glasnow-Yamamoto starting all 7.

Personally I'm just pumped that everyone who was worried about unsigned players not getting a full spring training gets to start beating that drum two weeks earlier for this offseason.

That is cool, wish i could go to the game

Ugh the dates of this are right in the middle of tax season. I was already planning on a 4-6 week vacation in Japan after tax season next year. This would have been a really cool thing to add onto that.

Until we trade Imanaga for some teenagers and Seiya has his annual oblique injury and can't play

I actually missed the 3rd series the first 2 times I scanned because it's in small print, so I thought it was only 2 in Japan and 3 in LA.  2/3/2 is fine since 4/3 would've been a perfectly normal outcome otherwise, complaint withdrawn.

We'll be done with Arizona, San Diego, Texas, and Dodgers in April. Would love to see a weekend trip to Atlanta and not a trip during the week. It's been a few years for that to happen.

It’s very dumb. Should have been one home and one road game for each team and then both teams would have played 80 games at their traditional ballpark.

This. I live in an area that’s primarily Braves fans. I’m closer to Atlanta than Chicago. I’ve been wanting to do a big weekend trip to Atlanta for Braves and Cubs but it feels like every year it’s weekday games. It’s pretty annoying. I hear the new ballpark is pretty great and the area around it called The Battery is pretty sweet also.

The stadium is cool, I went there in 2018 when they played Miami. However, I didn't go to The Battery. Just frustrated because I know the game atmosphere is amazing for a baseball game, and they did a good job with the stadium accommodating the heat during the summer months.

Cubs last weekend trip to Atlanta was 2016, which would be the last year at Turner Field.

Yep I’ve heard a bunch of great reviews about the new stadium from friends that go often.

& Wow. I didn’t realize it had been that long. I hope every year to get a weekend series in Atlanta and never do. Maybe 2026 is finally my year lol.
