It's crazy that all of a sudden the Cubs have Seiya with an .812 OPS, Busch with an .814 and Happ with an .805. I know it wont happen, but if you added Soto and a league average catcher to this lineup, it would actually be pretty good.

I’d imagine it’d be similar to 04 Red Sox if you replaced the bats of big papi and Manny with Morel and Amaya.

Real chance to win a series. Fancy that. 😳

They had real chances basically all of June (based on the opponents they were facing)

Hell yeah Steele. Shota was pretty much locked into the Cubs all star spot for awhile but looks like Steele, 1 win and all, has stolen the spot

Justin to Craig. I got this one. Bullpen isn’t going to horsefeathers this up again.

In all seriousness, is there a single Cub fan watching this game that did not say that very thing to themselves?

Sure is quiet in here when cubs are winning the game

I was out and missed the game, I looked on here and saw just 2 pages,  made me think they got blown out. 😅

Happ up to a 131 wRC+, IMO now is the time to trade him before he goes on one of his month long cold streaks. I think it should be clear what direction the club is heading.

The good news is JSs work now has the bullpen rested for the rest of the weekend.

That could be the bad news too.

C’mon now, you know the Cubs are due for their long awaited winning streaks. Can’t trade Happer now. Even if they don’t start winning, I think Happ is here to stay.

Just let Ethan, Porter, and Luke lead the way.

Wow who knew a player who'd been highly productive the last five years wasn't cooked after two bad months.  Oh well no lesson to be learned here.

Maybe add Lopez and Miller to that list, or, just keep Neris away from any high leverage situations.
