Cubs are crushing the ball but, just two horsefeathers hits.  Sooner or later those hard hit balls are going to find holes or fly out the park.

Been saying this same thing about Morel specifically for about a month now, and what does he have to show for it.  A bunch of loud outs in May.

They have 7 against the Reds with 2 against the Whitesox,  maybe they'll win 5 or 6 of those games.

Or maybe they'll go 3-6.  Regardless of the opponent, I have no confidence whatsoever in being able to predict the Cubs success.

Aww. Where is the Morel is always smiling stories to take our minds away from that awful AB?

And Michael Busch follows up with that lol.

Man, Busch has to be so frustrated with an AB like that.  Looks at the first pitch that's a couple inches outside for a ball, does the same with the second pitch that's in the same location but a few inches higher and it gets called a strike, sees the 3rd pitch heading to a similar area and basically has to swing because who knows what the ump will do.  Robot umps now.

YOU NEVER HAVE TO SWING ON 1-1.

I mean, the ump has already screwed him once and that pitch location is likely to be a called strike again putting him in a 1-2 count.  The point is that even when he's doing the right things, he's getting calls that put him at a disadvantage.

Why does this team suck so bad?  I cant get over how awful they've been and continue to be. Snap the horsefeathers out of it already.

If they lose I believe that's 3-10 in our last 13 with our 3 wins being:

-Walkoff after Bellinger knocks the ball out of the catchers hand

-Walkoff on a baltimore chop single to score the Manfred Man

-10th inning offensive explosion after blowing a 1-0 lead with 2 outs in the 9th.

I'm ready for them to start trading guys and just bring up kids from Iowa and let them play out the season.

Seriously,  they have 12 position players that are making bottom of rotation starters look like top of rotation guys most games.

I wouldn't be surprise if they were bottom 5-10 in hitting for every starting position in MLB C, 1B, 2B, etc.....
