Opening day of 20. He also had the 81 pitch masterpiece against St. Louis (21 I think?)

Man, I know I’m the annoyingly optimistic guy and pick terribly mediocre hills to die on, but Nick madrigal has a purpose and starting middle infielder isn’t it. Give me that AAA dude with the 950 OPS now that we actually ILed Dansby and everyone else is back

Outside of Dansby that’s pretty much our A lineup. 
 

edit: whoops I missed Wisdom in there for Busch. It’s got the Belli, Seiya, Morel grouping though

I've complete faith Hendricks will not even be remotely effective today, he'll get shelled by a piss poor Pirates lineup.  Then, maybe, it'll finally be the end for him.

Will the Cubs give Owen Caissie a shot this season? I know that defense is important and that Happ has a proven history, but a .648 ops from a "power position" isn't great.

If Caissie gets a shot, it won't be at Happ's expense, and I imagine it would largely be as a DH.

If it were longer term maybe, but Dansby is expected to have a minimum stay so we're essentially talking a week.  Also, Madrigal OPSed 1.192 in a brief AAA stint last year while Mastrobuoni was at .921, and Vazquez is down to .806 this year(.744 total in 538 PA).

So they optioned Cuas to activate Hendricks. Wonder if they are going 6 man or are kicking Wesneski out of the rotation.

I think Caissie will be more for next season,  I think Happ will be traded in offseason
