Wow what a shot by Busch off of Greene!

I missed this, so if anyone has video it would be appreciated.

Delacruz is 0-5 with 5 Ks against the Cubs this ST.

Watching him the last ~9 months it feels like he's going to OPS north of .900 or south of .700 with almost no chance of settling in between.

I've watched 4 games this season. The previous 3 were shutouts and I missed the 1st inning tonight. I've watched 32 innings of baseball and the Cubs still have not scored a run.....

You're not allowed to watch the regular season.

35 innings now, I'm almost curious how long this can go. On the plus side I wont be able watch either of tomorrow's games or Saturday's games so I expect 20 runs scored over those 3 games.

Yesterday Wesneski was throwing a 12-6 version of his breaking ball against lefties and getting swings and misses.  Maybe he's found an answer.

Unless I missed him, haven't noticed Amaya playing much, did he get hurt?

They are playing the guys they want to see more of so they can make better judgement at the tail end of the bench. Amaya is on the team.

So Tallion was scratched today. Is now the time to start worrying about him? I still think we need to add a starting pitcher.

They aren’t spending on the Boras 2. I am certain of that.

If Taillon’s lined up as the #4 in the rotation, his first four starts would be

vs. Rockies

@ Padres

@ Mariners

vs. Marlins

I'm not too worried about Wesneski or Assad stepping in for that, and that's if Taillon's out for 6 weeks which seems sufficiently conservative.

But remember Imanaga is used to pitching wirh more time between starts too. I would think they would use one of those guys to spot start to give him an extra day.

None on the other catchers are going to be used off the bench..

With the DH, teams need to make sure the other 4 guys can play multiple positions, good glove, and can possibly be used as a pinch runner.  There's no room for just an end of bench 3rd catcher anymore

I'm still holding out hope they can make a deal with Montgomery.

Julio Urios could be a short term option also

Who? Urias? He is suspended, isn't he? I hope they don’t consider him.

I just saw him on the FA list, didn't know he was suspended
