The defense was still….OK against Manning at the peak of his powers, and Hester spotted the team 7.

I watched highlights again recently and I forgot how much of a monsoon that game was. The variance that introduces probably favors the Bears, but then you also get the…Cedric Benson fumble ☹️

MB would never let Reggie Wanye slip past him, Daniel Manning had a decent career, but he wasnt MB. tommie and MB mattered in that game. And Benson was never Thomas Jones

yea yea yea,,,,,,,,rules change, times change and all that horsefeathers. whatever. What does matter today and tomorrow is that the Bears beat GB

(and draft Marvin Harrison #1 overall......horsefeathers what you think)

I was actually looking forward to this game, but my local CBS has fucked me again (they've been in a contract dispute with DirecTV for the past 6 weeks)

I'm dropping DirecTV as soon as our fiber optic is done installing. Might not be done before football season next year. I had YouTubeTV for awhile in California and I liked it. I think the only work around is not being able to get Marquee on YouTube, but I think I'm far enough away from Chicago to get Cubs on MLBTV. I think NBC Sports Chicago is available as well, but I'm not positive on that. Although, I'm hearing that the contract with the Blackhawks and Bulls is almost over. Not sure what happens after that.

This is probably the last thing I'd want to see Poles do with this offseason. There is speculation that the first pick could net 3 firsts and a couple of day 2 picks. MHJ is good, but he's not better than the next best WR and 4 other day one and day two draft picks.

Maybe I missed it elsewhere,  but it looks like Doug Kramer will start at center with Lucas Patrick to the IR.

Outside of WR, I feel Center is the next biggest hole on the roster. Kramer gets to see if he can be a serviceable backup next year or if the Bears need to draft one and sign one this offseason. My bet is the Bears will have two new Centers on the roster next year.

Kind of a weird story by Bears PR on a day in the life of Kevin Warren.

https://www.chicagobears.com/news/day-in-the-life-bears-president-ceo-kevin-warren#:~:text=Warren focuses on hitting the, work to be done yet.

“Arriving at the office just before 7:00 a.m., Warren greets the woman at the front desk with a "Happy New Year" before heading upstairs.”

“At 7:40 a.m., Warren heads back downstairs to the building's gym for his workout, starting with over 30 minutes on the StairMaster while listening to his 90s Mix playlist on Spotify featuring songs like "Mo Money Mo Problems" by The Notorious B.I.G, "Superstar" by Ms. Lauryn Hill and his personal favorite — "Be Happy" by Mary J. Blige.”

“Right at 10:15 a.m., Warren is out the door with his suit jacket, overcoat and Louis Vuitton bag in hand. He takes the elevator down to the parking garage, jumps in his spotless car and drives down to the entrance of his apartment building.”

Fully expect the Bears to run all over the Packers and turn Love over a few times but, ultimately, because of Fields ineptitude vs a zone, lose.  It'll be something stupid, Fields will be unable to make a zone read that an average NFL QB would be able to execute and miss a wide open Moore for a game winning TD.  In the process Fields will answer the question as to whether or not the Bears should move on from him.

The previous meeting is what I am expecting.

I would just like to point out the CJ Stroud, as a rookie, had a season that would be indisputably better than any Bears QB season in history and led his team to the playoffs

for those saying if we draft a QB we can’t expect to compete

What he did was very unusual, but it can happen. The Bears have a better foundation to build upon than Stroud has too.

The coaching situation is pretty much going to give away what the Bears are going to do at QB. A new coach and I'd put heavy money on a new QB. If they keep Eberflus, then I'd put heavy money that Fields is returning.

Watching Derek Carr absolutely destroy Atlanta to the tune of a 150.1 passer rating is not making me feel as optimistic about Fields' performance last week as I was.

So umm wtf is with that headline? Unless I’m missing something the Bears are not mentioned at all, just that multiple teams are interested and he mentions the Raiders and Chargers. Misleading headline from Brett

edit: completely disregard my page stopped loading for some reason and missed the bottom half. Thanks @WrigleyField 22 for correcting me
