The coaching situation is pretty much going to give away what the Bears are going to do at QB. A new coach and I'd put heavy money on a new QB. If they keep Eberflus, then I'd put heavy money that Fields is returning.

Yeah if they can Eberflus, that should mean Fields is gone but if he stays I don't necessarily think that guarantees Fields stays. Going to be interesting in the coming days

So umm wtf is with that headline? Unless I’m missing something the Bears are not mentioned at all, just that multiple teams are interested and he mentions the Raiders and Chargers. Misleading headline from Brett

edit: completely disregard my page stopped loading for some reason and missed the bottom half. Thanks @WrigleyField 22 for correcting me

Brett should have led with the Harbaugh’s connection to the Bears instead of burying it at the bottom

The Jets are going to win, giving the Bears a chance to move up to #9 in the draft with a loss today.  I have no idea where they end up if they win, but it looks like it might be as low as 13ish?  I have a hard time deciding what to root for today, so I guess I'll be happy either way.

Yeah would rather not lose to the horsefeathers packers yet again. But having 1 and 9 is not the worst thing in the world

If you want them to take a QB at #1 and you want any chance of Nabers with the 2nd pick, the Bears have to lose. If they win, even Odunze might be gone before they pick.

DVOA ratings have moved to a new site, so I haven't been staying updated on them this season, but I was curious how the Bears were faring since I thought they'd been playing much better of late, and here are the weighted DVOA ratings (games most recent weighted most heavily, falling off after 8 games) as of the start of week 18:

1. Ravens
2. 49ers
3. Bills
4. Dolphins
5. Cowboys
6. Chiefs
7. Bears
8. Lions
9. Browns
10. Jaguars
11. Steelers
12. Texans
13. Eagles
14. Raiders
15. Bengals
16. Bucs
17. Seahawks
18. Rams
19. Saints
20. Packers
21. Broncos
22. Colts
23. Vikings
24. Chargers
25. Patriots
26. Falcons
27. Jets
28. Titans
29. Cardinals
30. Giants
31. Commanders
32. Panthers

I wonder if Fields get a chance to get rid of the ball on that sack if the ball isn't hiked at his shins.

Very possibly.  I don't know how a guy can make his reads when he has to look and reach down to pick the ball up.
