Fields is one of like 5 guys in the league who can make that play... but plenty of QBs also make one of those earlier throws and don't have to... and that kinda sums up the Justin Fields experience

It’s crazy how Fields is so indecisive in the pocket often throwing late or not at all but when he’s scrambling for his life his instincts kick in and he looks up and immediately sees a guy open and flings it to them.

There's no doubt to me that he's a starting quality NFL QB. He may even be above average, given where the league is right now with QB play. That unfortunately only factors in so much when you have the 1st overall pick and he's coming up on a contract year.
