Tauchman looks a little bit lost at the moment.  At least he is having 5+ at pitch at-bats while being lost and not popping out on the first pitch.

He looks awful at the plate lately.  6 for his last 48 with 0 XBH.  Still walking which adds value but his contact seems to always be weak as hell

OTOH he's a sturdy athlete who has thrown that many pitches in a game at some point in his life before and we are playing a double header with Shane Greene starting his first game in 7 years or something in game 2. 

 

He did a great job. Now we need to put up a crroked number and keep some stress off of the pen.

Wasn’t always pretty, but can’t really ask for better than 1 run in 5 innings from Wicks.

Maybe....he's likely going to have to pitch some point today.  Might as well have it be when the lineup is full of righties. 

Lets see if Belli and Dansby can give the next  pitcher more cushion
