10/12 NLDS Game 5 Cubs (Hendricks) vs DB's Nats (Gio) 7 pm TBS

I get this feeling that this game will be like game 7 - at least at the start where we all come in with frayed nerves and the Cubs put several runs on the board early and we all think 'wow this is easier than I was expecting', except this time it stays that way. The only time its in doubt is in the 8th inning when the Nats load the bases with 2 outs...Davis comes in and gets the job done this time and works through an easy 9th. Cubs win 6-3.

Can't believe they did this.... Zobrist is 3rd on the team in BA this series, 5th in OPS and is tied for the team lead in XBH.

 

(3rd on the team is .200 BA, 5th in OPS is .533, team lead in XBH is 2)

Earlier in the week, Joe said Zobrist was having good at bats, except against Gio. I’m guessing we’ll see Zobrist as soon as he’s out of the game.

Its baseball and we have the better pitcher on the mound at full rest. Advantage is ours.

Nah Gio is a good pitcher, great at times. Hendricks is better. Plus we hit lefties well.

 

Didnt realize Gio was on full rest, though. Thats disappointing, I normally math well when i have enough fingers to cover it. :/

Probably, also from the right side Zobrist has been even more assy this year with the wrist thing it seems like it affects him more hitting RH than LH.
