Pirates win and Swarzak and Knebel likely won't be available tomorrow. Nice turn of events.

 

Hader too. He’s not been used in back to backs because they think that’s why he struggled early on.

never been to Pittsburgh but that ballpark always seems to be on the have to see a game list ....would like to get there soon

 

My 2nd favorite ballpark. Was there for a 4 game series in May 2004. Cubs got swept in a double header(Rob Mackowiak wife gave birth earlier that day) only Cubs win was the final game.

My 2nd favorite ballpark. Was there for a 4 game series in May 2004. Cubs got swept in a double header(Rob Mackowiak wife gave birth earlier that day) only Cubs win was the final game.

 

It’s a great yard. I went last year in that awful series before the all star break with my dad who’s a dumbass Pirates fan so that part wasn’t fun. Petco is also awesome. Really great local beer selection and you get to go to San Diego.

Been to San Diego a few times.. Live in LA.. Like getting there early and sitting up at the bar in the western metal supply area.. Just cool to belly up and have left field below you.. Plus the place is usually empty so you can sit pretty close for cheap.. Sat near Steve Kerr and David wells once at Cubs game there

Both of Knebel's 2nd half blown saves were to the Pirates.

 

Call them up and get his number. They obviously have it.

Yep I'll be flying out next year for the west coast swing. I love Dodger Stadium though, mainly because I spent a few years living in SoCal during my youthful discovery of baseball and how much I loved it, and we used to go to a bunch of games. If it weren't for my mom being a Cubs fan I'd probably be a stupid Dodgers fan. AT&T is also a beautiful park that I've spent a ton of time in, but to me nothing beats the beach and a ballgame like SD.

There are 7 teams within 6 games of the second AL wild card, so nearly half the AL. None of those teams have a winning record in their last 10 games. #pennantfever

Could have sworn Texas was on a hot streak to get back into things, but apparently that's only true in a relative sense.

Its not a good play but it's not like he turned an out into a triple. Lynn is still [expletive] the bed and couldn't make it out of the first.
