The Dodgers slide is so entertaining. Especially because so many national writers had crowned them champs after they acquired Yu Darvish. Would be even better if the Diamondbacks hadn't just lost two to the Padres.

 

They're going to win the division still so I want to know how much longer they have to keep losing before I even entertain the thought Arizona could win that division.

The shell of their team last year "should" have beat us. Their pitching and offense have been scary but a lot of this against horsefeathers teams. Still that streak is nuts.

Dodgers-Giants were delayed about an hour due to rain. Then, after one batter, they went back to a delay. Game is about to resume with one out in the top of the first at 10:50 p.m. I find it amusing that someone in NY will have to be awake for the whole game for any replay reviews.

The fact that they actually played this game on Monday is insane. Could have done it either Tuesday or Wednesday. Both teams are off on Thursday but the Dodgers are going to Washington so they wouldn't want to play Thursday, but Wednesday is a night game so they could have done a DH then. Plus since rosters have expanded, they wouldn't have to worry about not having enough players.
