His fielding difficulties are so hilariously overstated because he had a couple of goofy looking misplays in the NLCS last year.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned earlier but Schwarber is the only player in franchise history to debut against the Indians.

Good eye. He swung and missed through one pitch, not sure if it was offspeed. And he rolled over on another swing that went foul.

I noticed the pitch clock in the outfield when they zoomed out. I hope they will implement those to prevent any more Pedro Baez's from taking too long.

From what couldnt be farther from an expert eye but he does look "off" with his timing

I'm certain he is...live BP, tee work and soft toss can't replicate game action, but he's not tentative or anything. Hands are quick but his leg kick and hand load are just a bit off just looking at those side shots. Whatever, if you're facing him you have to respect the dong whereas with Seal Boy there's an equal chance he would quit mid-at bat to head to the Jersey Shore or hit a flair single.

Schwarber double down the line. Slid into second, didn't think he'd push for two in the AFL but he did.

He wasn't exactly booking it to second but decent enough speed for him to get 2 bases on balls that would be a double in most situations.

He just advanced to 3rd on a bunt but he was mostly jogging. And now gets to trot home casually on a HR.
