So I follow Chris Singleton on Twitter and saw where he was open to speaking with schools and universities fall-spring 2019/2020. I messaged him and asked if he would be interested in speaking at ECU and he said absolutely.

Anyway, this past week I’ve emailed probably a dozen or so people and think we may have a fit with one department for next academic year. Really pumped about this and it’s such an imperative message for college students (well, America in general) in this day in age.

As an aside, one of the girls I’m working with on bringing him in to speak is originally from charleston and they have mutual friends. Small world.

I was just going through fangraphs and filtering pages to get ready for some fantasy baseball stuff. Did you guys know Monty has the 18th lowest era of qualified pitchers since 2016? That shocked me, I know era is what it is but still.

Without checking the other rosters, I wouldn't be shocked to learn that Monty is the best 6th SP in baseball, based on projections.
