That was the greatest OU basketball game I've ever watched. Really hate losing that one, but I was expecting a 20-pt loss tonight.

 

Yeah this is one of those games where if KU had lost, I'd have been disappointed but not mad. Self was dead on when he said post game that if Mason hadn't D'd up Hield like he did in the second half he would have dropped 60.

 

I know Traylor got hurt on that crazy block, but I'm surprised Self went with Lucas as heavily as he did in OT.

 

Like Game 7 of the Hawks-Kings a few years ago. Neither team deserved to lose, but someone had to.

Sad I missed the game except for the 3rd overtime. Hield is ridiculous. Should be a fun game return game in Norman. If OU plays that well again, no way we'll beat them there.

 

hield was merely human vs iowa st, which is how iowa st somehow had a shot to win it on a wide open 3 with 5 seconds left. i guess after watching ku/ou last night i should feel good about iowa st losing a one possession game in norman.

 

i find it hard to believe that ou is going to continue to shoot 46% (?!?!) on 3s all season.

The Oregon basketball court may be the worst playing surface on the eyes in all of sports. Even that hideous red football field is better (barely).

this is a pretty decent illini team. nunn and hill are one of the best tandems in the conference.

IU beat the piss out of the Buckeyes today. 9 in a row. 4-0 in the B1G, without James Blackmon Jr. Ironically, the defense is better without him also (not ironic, he's terrible on D). I only saw highlights, but it looked like Ohio St played the worst 1st half defense in basketball history. So many layups and open jumpers.

They kind of gave up in the first half and did not start really doing anything at all until they were down 59-23, but obviously it was too little, too late.

Yeah, I thnk we'd have been a dangerous team for sure. Hill/Nunn are quite good. But with our best post players done for the year, it's going to be a tough slog.
