Sure. I'm not in a hurry to get rid of Cutler. But he still isn't near the player he was two years ago. And no, his stats this year don't disprove that.

 

I don't know what stats you're talking about. Sure, he turns the ball over, but he's always thrown INTs and always will. his fumbles are mostly a function of how many times he's sacked. his average fumble per sack was exactly the same as Rodgers's this season, pretty much average.

 

I said he was worse despite his stats looking superficially good because they were always trailing and because NFL passing stats are off the charts right now. Not because of his stats.

 

2012 Cutler *always* put the ball where he wanted it to go. Sometimes he wanted it to go stupid places, but he didn't miss the throw itself. 2014 Cutler missed throws all the damn time.

Wow, no wonder the Bears sucked. There doesn't seem to be any team chemistry at all. Not sure how a head coach could have fixed that ... if personalities don't mesh, then they just don't mesh. You can't expect a head coach to change a grown man's personality.

Jay Glazer was on PFT yesterday and said that Fox to Chicago was basically "done" and that his separation from Denver was at least a year in the making and arose from "irreconcilable differences" with Elway. FWIW.

Talking heads with Bob Ley said last night that the rumor is that Fox didn't hold the players accountable and that pissed off Elway. Elway also allegedly is going to drive hard at Kubiak, who apparently was never comfortable being an HC.
