For what it's worth, the only thing I've seen from Titans beat writers (Paul Kuharsky and Jim Wyatt) is that the Titans are not interested in Cutler at all. They sound sold on Mettenberger or Mariota (probably Mett).

Sensible move. Cutler can probably be a top 12-15 QB just be cutting his turnovers down by 25%. If they run more than they did last season (likely), that shouldn't be too difficult to make happen.

 

If Jay doesn't play well this season it will be easier to move on in a year.

If they are going to pretend they wanted him all along they should have been more committal when repeatedly given the opportunity to since Pace was hired.
