@ChrisKuc: #Blackhawks have upped ante in trade targets. Looking at players on level of Jeff Skinner and Mike Cammalleri. That type of player.

Also, Toews would definitely lie about that.

I was hoping for some sort of insidery anti-Jagr story

Well he crushed by soul as a teenager in 1992 when they swept the Hawks during the SCF

Likewise

BTW, if they acquire Skinner and one of Petry or Yandle....well just watch the [expletive] out.

No Rozsival tonight thank god, Erixon in instead.

Also, Kane who? TT's got this.

Apparently Quenneville was pretty down on Rozsival with the media yesterday, finally.

Yup

Something should be going down trade wise within the next 24 hours. Still think its Vermette. But any of those guys would be even better.

saw the post on the official Blackhawks Twitter account that said "Remember this moment Brent? Yeah, we do, too. Thanks for the memories! " and before seeing the picture thought Seabrook had been traded... turns out Sopel retired officially.

Sopel kept this play alive

The craziest game I have ever been to. They lose that game and 2010 could have turned out very different.

Same here. That game was insane. John Madden blocking shots during that kill, place was going nuts.

I remembered that he carried the puck around the net, but forgot he was the one that took the shot.

That was so much fun. As far as first round wins go, it's tough to better that one.

No doubt, although in terms of 6 straight exciting games, last year's Blues series is close. In the Preds series Games 2-4 were relatively one sided.

I was behind the goal that Kane tied it in the 300 level, place was nuts! I remember thinking the Hawks still have over 4 minutes to kill but it seemed there was no way the Hawks were going to lose in OT. Then Hossa comes out of the box and scores the winner. On the way out of the Stadium I think I hurt my hand high fiving about 100 random people.

That seems like a high price to pay for a 39 year old.

After doctors found the blood clots, Timonen said in September that the chance of him playing this season was "really slim." He also has said he will retire after this season.
