FWIW - There was a Baseball America writer on The Score this morning who said he has talked to a lot of scouts around baseball who not only believe Kris Bryant can stay at 3B, but that he will actually be a very good defender. That is the first time I have really heard that opinion outside of the Cubs organization and could make things really interesting if indeed Bryant stays at third long term.

I was just thinking about Marco Hernandez yesterday. Is he still a thing? Reasonably young and playing SS and not getting killed.

He's at the back end of my top 30.

Mine too. Hes still only 21.

Didn't he used to switch hit? Hes listed as only LH this year.

Baez at 2nd. Bryant at 3B. That's a potential 125 HR infield.

Interesting. I still think he moves to RF, but if you're a lot more worried about Baez busting compared to Bryant and Russell, I suppose Javy is the one who could move to RF.

I bet our SS and 1B will hit a few too

He's suggesting that Baez and Bryant can crack 125 between the two of them.

Yeah, I get that. Didn't know if he was insinuating that I was doing the same or making a (bad) joke.

Tseng was a late scratch.

He's totally starting in Cincy on Wednesday...

Now he's pitching in relief for some reason.

Maybe he had diarrhea

Everyone but Russell hitting, Soler just got his first hit an rbi single Russell is o-3 and K'd in his last AB also made an error

Soler's single came on a 7-pitch at-bat where he fell behind 0-2, and laid off two pitches in the dirt in between foul balls.

Black with 3 walks in 3+ innings.

Looking at Alfonso Soriano's OBP and the fact he was DFA'd today, I'm just glad we found someone to take him.
