Welcome to my game thread. Whatever. I had some good doombonery stuff planned, but that doesn't feel right after we just took two out of three from the Cardinals. I also had some fun ideas, but losing that last game makes me not feel like doing that either.

So just post whatever you want. TV GIFs seem popular, but they are just about to cross that line where they become tiresome. Hopefully the minor leaguers do something cool tomorrow or at least Javy Baez doesn't strike out 4 times. We could argue about the plan, or talk about which posters are lame and which ones are cool. The Blackhawks are doing well. Some people seem to like bands and movies and stuff.

How about you start by explaining why Kevin Orie is your avatar?

How about you start by explaining why Kevin Orie is your avatar?

Because deep down, I still think he got BABIP screwed and should have settled in as an MLB regular.

I remember one time in a ST game that was on the radio he hit a home run that went like eight miles, and the next day the coaching staff had a quote in the newspaper that said "It's about time we had a rookie of the year."

Also because he is a handsome, handsome man.

I remember in the first month of 98 after his decent rookie year, he kept hitting warning track flies with the wind blowing in and I thought he was getting screwed...he never recovered though. I swear he lost like 7 HR that April. I thought he was gonna be awesome.

So I've been going on a lot of first dates with women I meet on online dating sites since the divorce was finalized.

Last month, there was this woman who seemed smart, nerdy in the way I like, and her pictures were that perfect "below-average looking but not completely revolting" level of attractiveness that I aim for.

She shows up for our date, and she looked way better than her pictures. Like, at least average or maybe even above-average for downstate Illinois. This made me extremely insecure and I felt very weird about being on a date with her. At the end of the dinner, I walked her back to her car and was relieved it was over. But then she went in for a hug after saying goodnight. I simultaneously backed away, looked startled and blurted out "Oh, are we hugging?!" I actually did get a second date after that, but not a third.

That is more or less how Epstein would react if Samardzija seriously approached him about a contract extension at this point.

You should have tried to forcibly and awkwardly fit a Cubs jersey on her.

Or you can just write a book and get any kooz you want.I

kyle tell us some more pathetic stories

That was my one of my best ones. You're going to have to let it soak in for awhile before I move on.

He's REALLY good at that.

Haha, all I could think about when I read that was that episode of Workaholics with Gods Force.

I may have missed some sort of sarcasm here (?) but I thought that avatar picture was indeed of Kyle himself?
