Oh, and the student paper that first reported on the 4 years between crime and punishment got banished from the press conference about it that Hoke held on Monday.

UM kicked the starting punter off the team last year for weed, but you're sure there was an university-wide, institutional cover-up of a sexual assault spanning two ADs and two coaches, for a freshman backup kicker...that's pretty patently ridiculous

I actually wrote several times that it was terrible that the student took her life. The investigation didn't reveal a sexual assault occurred (the implication that it's a fact that this student took her life bc of these alleged events is far more ridiculous than anything I've ever written). But I don't know what happened and neither do you.

 

By contrast, the UM investigation concluded that something happened that warranted kicking this guy out of school. Its a little crazy that it took 4 years for that action and even crazier that the "punishment" happened after it would have actually hurt the team. Convenient.

 

I think it's funny that you cite an article by a woman who has a pretty solid history of hating ND (warranted or not) but then also cite an apparently "unbiased" article that shows UM in a more favorable light. You seem to like to believe in articles that make ND look bad and UM look better. Interesting.

Way back before Bell's beer was known outside of Michigan their Oberon Beer was called Solsun because it was, "a summer beer the color of the setting summer sun". Molson brewery in Canada went after Larry Bell and told him they would destroy him in legal fees if he didn't change the name. The small guy always gets fucked in the ass.
