NCAA Football 09 was released July 15, 2008. It was released on all next generation consoles, including, for the first time, the Wii.[1] The covers featured the following college football figures:

 

PlayStation 2 — DeSean Jackson, wide receiver/return specialist, California

PlayStation 3 — Matt Ryan, quarterback, Boston College

PSP — Owen Schmitt, fullback, West Virginia

Wii — Sparty, mascot, Michigan State

Xbox 360 — Darren McFadden, running back, Arkansas

EA is probably praying that Denard wins so they don't have millions of people think they have fake players in the game bc they don't recognize the guy on the cover.

TexAgs is notorious for going nuts over online polls with voting bots and the like. I remember reading about some poll(maybe for Gameday?) there a couple years ago and it was mind-blowing the effort people were putting into it.

Ryan Swope will probably be a 2nd round draft pick at WR after a great combine showing. He had a couple of huge catches in the Alabama game. Was 1st team All Big 12 last year and 2nd team All SEC this year due to a slow start.

And FYI, Swope had 104 yards receiving and a TD in the Cotton Bowl ass kicking you took a couple months ago. But I understand why an OU fan wouldn't want to remember that.

 

EDIT: Just for grins I checked the 2011 A&M-OU game stats. Swope had 7 catches for 149 yards and a TD in that game.
