Only part that doesn't add up is he was tight with the Californian guy who was behind the fake identity. Hardest part of keeping this story straight in my head is all the unspellable Samoan names. Either Teo had a falling out with that guy causing him to plot revenge, they went in on the story together to generate hype, or they're gay.

 

OR the musician friend just had a crush on him and that was his way of acting on it. i love this stuff. either way, no one tragically died and notre dame is embarrassed, so this certainly isn't the end of the world. i really hope he was in on the plot though, because i will feel AWFUL for the poor guy if he wasn't. after skimming the deadspin article and seeing a clip of him waxing poetic on ESPN, i 80% think he's telling the truth.

I think it was roughly an hour or so ago but ESPN was talking to different people about it like David Pollack and Mark Schlereth...anyways they were going to break whatever girl was on there, she had this somber tone about it like somebody just died...it was just weird.
