Depending on how far Bama falls, this could make things interesting in the computers for the other three unbeaten teams.

If all three finish unbeaten I think it's (or at least should be) Kansas State vs Oregon. If Notre Dame hadn't struggled with Pitt, BYU and Purdue I'd lean their way but those all could have/should have been losses.

I just hope Bama doesn't jump an undefeated by the end of the season.

In that case, K-State would probably do well to not have any close calls in their last 3 games.

I excuse the BYU game since Rees was playing. But, yeah, the Pitt and Purdue games don't help their case.

These CBS announcers are not even bothering with the pretense of impartiality. Openly pulling for Alabama.

They've been Florida and Alabama homers for years. You should've heard them when Tebow was at Florida. I'm convinced Verne wanted to have Tebow's babies.

Oregon is the most likely to lose of the undefeateds with Stanford and Oregon St left, not to mention the only team to potentially play in a conference championship of the 3. If it's K-State and Notre Dame undefeated, someone really has a chance to jump one with a loss. I don't think anyone wants to see that game.

Notre Dame is a draw on its own. If they're one of two undefeated teams, there's no chance they get left out of the NC.

Last year bama lost at home to LSU, then got a rematch over other teams who had the same record and hadn't lost at home to the other team beforehand. I don't believe they are out until they actually are. And even then I could see a Saban run in and chair shot for the title. Edited by illiniguy

There's no way IMO that two major conference teams with good schedules would get jumped by a team with 1 loss. Especially one that won't end up having much better of a schedule if it's better at all.

They are a draw, but are they one of the top 2 teams? The game last year shows that people want the best 2 teams in it. I don't think ND is in that 2. Also by the end of the season, Oklahoma will be the only real quality win for K-State.

ND isn't in a conference.

I think he's assuming that ND is already gonna be one of the teams in the NCG

Texas will likely be a 9 win team when they play K-State. That'd be a quality win.

Eh. I think 10 wins, top 15 team is quality. Texas is borderline both.

After the way ND handled Oklahoma, if they beat USC on the last game of the season and go undefeated, there's no way they get jumped by a 1-loss team.

They're undefeated on a tougher schedule than any SEC team.

Eh.

Stanford, USC, Oklahoma

vs.

LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia, Miss St. with Michigan in common for both teams.

or

Bama, South Carolina, Florida

I think Bama and Georgia have had tougher top ends of the schedule, though I'll give ND the edge for lack of true cupcake games. Those 3 teams UGA are going to play are better than anyone on NDs schedule. LSU and Georgia are better for Bama than anyone on NDs schedule also.
