McCarron totally underthrew that deep ball - it should have been a TD, not a 50-yard catch. Next play, Alabama fumbles.

I think I could be sold on an argument that keeps Alabama out of the title game even if they are undefeated.

Wha???

lol, that's just stupid

They've dominated bad/average teams. There best wins are against an overrated Mississipi State team who hadn't beaten anyone and LSU, who struggled with Towson and Auburn. This would be a good win but I could see Kansas State and Notre Dame having the argument of going through a tougher path to be undefeated.

May not matter though.

Undefeated Alabama would also have wins over aTm and Georgia/Florida too.

Sagarin has ND's SOS 16 and Bama's 17.

thats a pick

Yeah, if getting only a toe in counts when you're facing out of bounds, it should if you're facing the other way.

Same thing happened in Mizzou's game today. Doesn't make much sense to me.

So this is the part where Alabama stop them and then drives to win the game again.

Sure is. Reminds me of Ohio State for a good part of the 2000's. A talented team who always, always found ways to win close games and it's equally annoying to me.

That's 2 underthrown deep balls that should have been TDs (out of 3).

Also, how does the TAMU secondary let Alabama receivers get behind them 3 times in a span of about 5 minutes?

Either overaggresiveness, nervousness or incompetence. Or some combination of those three.

I really want an Iron Bowl miracle to set up a 3 way tie in the west a la the Big 12 South a few years ago.

Here's the part where TAMU's secondary gets a third chance to let an Alabama receiver blow by them.

Check that. Here's the part where Alabama blows the game, and these announcers spend the next 10 minutes rationalizing it.
