Source: Marmol would have OK'ed trade to #Angels, but #Cubs pulled deal off table and trade is not happening. Angels talking to other clubs.

 

WE pulled it off the table? Theo's got some splain'in to do

 

i'm going to assume it's because theo is going to trade marmol to the nationals for bryce harper

Hopefully it's a move that makes Angels throw in a little more and Theo accepts.

I wouldn't have even called this one the biggest fleecing in recent memory if it had happened.

Deal has hit a snag. Source says not dead yet but unlikely at this point.Marmol had waived his no trade and thought he was traded.

What i found funny is that it was posted by a guy named Rizzo Smash.

 

Anyway, the deadline for his option is at 11 EST, so we should know soon, right?

there had to be an issue with haren's medical. there's no other logical explanation.

I know it will never happen, but I'd really love an explanation from Theo on what went down here. Between this and the Demp trade there have simply been too many hiccups, whether they were Theo/Jed's fault or not.

This is disappointing, to say the [expletive] least. We've really made friends with the two LA teams now too. Doubt we'll be trading with either of them for a long time. Hopefully, it doesn't hurt us in dealings with other clubs, for that matter. The only thing that sounds feasible here is Haren's medicals must be really fucked up. If it's anything other than that, we've fucked ourselves. The money being exchanged shouldn't [expletive] matter in this deal.

Or it was never a straight up deal to begin with and the Angels want more than we want to give up.
