Losing Brewer, Watson and Korver with a replacement of Hinrich, Asik and possibly someone from the Wolves. I don't really like this.

As a guy who's never lived in the midwest, I see the point about FA going elsewhere. However, Chicago is the 3rd biggest market in the country and I can't see everyone always staying away, just because it's in the middle of the country, cold, etc. That said, there's probably going to have to be a definitive change in Rose, to where he's reaching out to these guys, instead of staying silent. Will he do that? No clue. If it's not the FA route, we've got to find a way to get a Kevin Love thru trade.

KC says he's heard it's likely Korver is getting dealt to Minnesota.

Now Love is a guy Rose would probably openly recruit if ever needed. They're real tight.

I'd love Love on the Bulls.

Love is one of my favorite players and he's really good so that'd be awesome. The Wolves seem to be doing what they can to build around him though so we'll see if they get to the point of trading him/him wanting out (I have read about him being unhappy with what they're doing or something like that).

Yeah, he did. But I think something's already come out about him being unhappy.

Stuff came out about him being unhappy prior to signing the contract, because they wouldn't give him max.

Yeah, a day or two ago. That's on him though - he signed that extension.

I fully understand he's a pipe dream for the Bulls.

Yeah, he is for now. But a year from now, who knows? It may(hopefully) be one of the reasons we're stagnant for the most part.

What the hell are the Bulls going to trade for Kevin Love?

Obviously, it'd be some grouping of Noah, Deng, Mirotic, the Bobcat pick, our own picks, Teague, and Taj. The ammo's probably in there somewhere, if they'd consider dealing him within a year, year and a half. If not, that's pretty much our available assets to go get a different bigtime player.

Hey Kahn, I've got 6 pieces of nothing. I'll give them to your for your 1 piece of something. K, thx!

Mirotic has serious value alrwady and it's going up. People genuinely can see him as an AS type player. The Bobcat pick will only be top 10 protected at that point. Teague went about 15 spots later in the draft than where some thought he'd go. Taj certainly has value. Deng and Noah? It's not negative value, by any stretch. We've got pieces to land a big name. You can choose to believe it or not.

Because eif we've learned anything, it's that Kahn never makes the wrong move....

As far as 2014 goes, Lawerence Holmes has hit the nail on the head. Good stuff on the score this week.

I'm guessing he had an extremely negative viewpoint about 2014 if it's something you agree with.

Nope, it was realistic and a reasonable line of logic that wasn't overly positive. The Bulls track record of roster management speaks for itself.

Now is when one can swoop in on Howard. I think it's the best chance of getting an impact player and mor sure then going not 2014 and winding up like the Mavs this year.
