well then no offense, but perhaps you can understand why everyone is so incredulous. i didn't play soccer through high school, but i went to some games. it's almost inconceivable to me that someone could play soccer for 12 years, including at the high school level, and have no idea that a red card means you play shorthanded. nor have i ever heard of a level as advanced as high school where a red card just you have to be subbed out. I completely understand everyone thinking I'm dumb, I would probably think the same thing. Just try and look at it from my side and I don't think it's that hard to see why I didn't know about it. I mainly played recreation and yes in recreation you simply sub the person out with a replacement, I played competitive for 3-4 years and honestly I can't remember a red card being given out and I just simply do not remember coaches ever going into it in detail because no one ever got one. I'm sorry I offended people with my idiocy but I was simply a FIFA newb coming in to discuss the Women's game and got hammered for it.
