  1. If that's all it takes, the Marlins are incredibly dumb. The deal just went through so I guess the Marlins really are dumb.
  2. how are you all watching the game?
  3. Hey my team is leading in points!! Just wait til I play you NC!
  4. I may have worded that strangely but the tickets would be free.
  5. I might have tickets available to tonight's game, trying to sell them for 7 dollars each on stub hub, but if they don't sell is there anyone here that would like to go to the game tonight?
  6. Yep, and they are a Rose injury away from making a ton of money.
  7. Then you wouldn't be shocked if they won less than 50. No, that is just the over/under that I would set it up at, indicating that I think half the people betting would pick over and half would pick under. Id obviously bet on the over. I'm more optimistic than most. But if Vegas has it at 46.5 why would you set it up higher? They are probably better at setting those things. And Chicago fans are notorious for over aggressive betting on their teams. I just feel like they are more improved than some might think. Obviously I am biased but I think most people would imagine us winning 47 or more games. I think most sports writers have us closer to 50 wins

  9. I'd be shocked if they dont get 50 wins this year. They are just all around better and should be worth 8 or so more wins. Id put the over/under at about 48.5 or so. On a related note I've got season tickets and am trying to sell them, does anyone have any advice on where to sell them at or any suggestions. I've been using Clicktix on chicagobulls.com but you can't price them for lower then 35$ and most the games are selling for about 20 or so on stubhub. I've also not been able to understand how to convert the tickets into a pdf, I can forward them to people but stubhub wants me to convert them and upload them as a pdf but I can only do that when I forward them and then there is someone's name on it that wouldn't the buyers name. I wasn't sure if that was an issue but if there is anyone on here who has advice on selling bulls tickets, or just tickets in general any info would be helpful since this is my first time selling tickets. Also does anyone know what the odds of moving up to better seats next year would be? I'm on the corner 300 level this year and would like to get center 300 hopefully next year, those seem to be selling much easier. ~Thanks
  10. That website doesn't take into account 1 point per 10 yards of the return game though, which my draft was basically built around. I think that might change things up a bit.
  11. I'd like to be in if there is an opening still. I am always active and competitive in Fantasy football
  12. I will only admit to him being a step or two behind Williams, not that he is a worse point guard. If you take both of their sophomore years (keep in mind that Williams was 2 years older) then they are pretty comparable but I give the slight edge to Derrick rose. However, I do not think Rose will ever become as good of a passer as Williams is, he simply the best in the league at dishing it out. If you had to have one of the two on a one year contract this upcoming year though I would pick Williams, if you had to have one to a 5 year contract then I would pick Rose.
  13. I threw Rondo up there as a jab at SSR. And no he isn't. He's a step behind, but not a worse point guard. http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=1&p1=rosede01&y1=2010&p2=willide01&y2=2010 He's a step behind and still developing big difference than being a "worse point guard." Can we all agree on him being a worse point guard (at this point)? I think he can be the best in the league in a few years or maybe even this next upcoming year but as of last season he is not up to par yet.
  14. Are you kidding me, SSR? Gimme a break. I didn't say Rose was better, all I said was Rose wasn't a "worse point guard." If you are talking about "worse point guard" I assume you are talking about guys like Toney Douglas, Baron Davis, Andre Miller, Rajon Rondo, Jameer Nelson, etc. Derrick is a step behing Deron, just like Deron is a step behind Chris Paul, but Derrick has the talent to at least reach Deron Williams status, if not surpass it. I agree with you completely. While most may say that Deron Williams is a better point guard now, I think most would also agree that Rose could easily become a better point guard than Williams is. Rose is already a top 5 point guard in the league at age 21 and is a few years from his prime still. In 2-3 years he will probably be the best point guard or at least in the same category as Chris Paul. this year he'll be in the same category as paul. the question is if he's in the same category as williams, which he isn't. So I understand that you are ranking Williams as a better point guard than Chris Paul? I don't think most people agree with that assessment even though I am a huge Williams supporter after watching him play at Illinois. Don't get me wrong I think Williams is the second best in the league and is close to Paul but it is hard to top what Paul can do.
  15. Plus Iggy has always been the main option in Phily since Iverson left and could serve to only get better when he is not the focal point but perhaps the 3rd person that a team would concentrate on guarding, behind rose and boozer. I think Iggy would match up very nicely against Wade in terms of keeping him under control.

  17. All I said was I think the Bucks are better than the bulls The Bucks aren't bad. Is Redd going to bet he 2 and Salmons the 3? Redd will never suit up for the Bucks again. Their starting lineup will probably be: B. Jennings PG J. Salmons SG C. Maggette SF D. Gooden PF A. Bogut C Bench: Douglas-Roberts Ridnour Mbah a Moute Ilyasova Sanders Hobson Gallon Delfino That's probably a top 4-6 team but not top 3. Take out Ridnour. Delfino could start instead of Maggette as well. Should battle anywhere from a 3-6 seed. No offense but I see that team as a stretch to even get into the playoffs.
  18. ESPN 1000 Just said that Boozer has comitted for 5/80 to the bulls. That is quite good news and if Lebron hasnt decided yet that should increase our chances.
  19. I just bought season tickets with the expectation that they will be amazing next year, there are only crappy 300 level seats available but for only 35 dollars a game it is a steal. I'm pretty sure if lebron and bosh come these tickets will be selling for 80-100 a seat.
  20. They really are still in it... somewhat. Colorado plays some hard teams down the stretch and the cubs are hot enough to beat just about anyone right now. If they win today, which seems likely, they can be only 5.5 games back. Odds are still like 10% for them to come back from 5.5 back but still its better than it was a week or so ago.
  21. 17 hits and they only scored 5? Glad I don't remember that game.
  22. Bases loaded, 1 out for NY. That ERA should take a little baloon ride in about 10 minutes. Santana is batting tho
  23. Gorzelanny is the Pirate's Rich Hill. I think hes got a lot of potential and I'm excited to have him on this team.
  24. Seriously can you imagine what kids said to him growing up? I've never heard anyone say his name, how do you pronounce it?
